Rosewall Creek Provincial Park
Rosewell Creek Provincial Park is a closely guarded secret among those who treasure the path less taken. Located on the Oceanside Route 19A north of Deep Bay and Bowser, this forested park is home to a beautiful stand of big-leaf maple trees. Some six kilometers of hiking trails meander through the coastal Vancouver Island rainforest along the banks of a small creek, the route dotted by a series of picnic tables and highlighted by a small waterfall. In autumn the foliage lights up in a colourful display, and by October the waters are alive with spawning coho salmon. Wheelchair accessible, this lovely, tranquil spot is ideal for a picnic on a hot summer day.Check out the BC Parks Rosewall Creek page page for complete amenity details.
