Dr. Zandvliet is the director of Simon Fraser University's Institute for Environmental Learning. Come and join us for an engaging presentation and discussion around these important questions:

How do people learn about sustainability and the environment? What does environmental education look like in BC and how does it compare to learning models abroad?

Do you have what it takes to be a firefighter? Parksville Volunteer Fire Department is seeking enthusiastic men and women to become volunteer firefighters. The Department will begin a new recruit group this spring and is now accepting applications for paid on call firefighters.

To learn more about being a paid on call firefighter in Parksville, there’s an information session on February 19 at the Parksville Fire Hall, 160 Jensen Avenue West.
