Tales for the Telling - Coalmines, Council Houses and Corsets
Jan 22, 2016
Tales for the Telling - Coalmines, Council Houses and Corsets: The Life and Times of a Scottish Granny featuring Norma Cameron.

This collection of stories is based on Norma's Granny Jamieson (the most amazing storyteller Norma has ever heard) and were written in honour of her Granny who died in 1994. The lilt of her voice and warmth of her stories will warm your heart and leave you smiling.

Tickets are available at the door, at the McMillan Arts Centre or on-line from Eventbrite.ca.

This event is part of the Tales for the Telling, Storytelling for Adults, at the McMillan Arts which take place once a month on the fourth Friday of the month.

Traditional storytelling is an oral art form as opposed to a written one. Paper and notes are a barrier between the listener and the teller. We do not bring paper on the stage. We do not READ stories. We TELL stories.
