Family Picnic and Play - Sandpiper/ Boultbee Community Park

Kids bring your adults and your dinner to Sandpiper/ Boultbee Community Park on Friday August 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. This is a free family event and a great way to enjoy your community park. Games and activities are provided by the RDN Recreation and Parks leader. Propane BBQs are welcome. Sandpiper/ Boultbee Community Park is located at 1291 Ormonde Dr, French Creek.

Lloyd Derry started his first Rock n Roll Band in 1965 during the golden age of Rock n Roll and has been performing for audiences ever since. The duo Silhouette (Lloyd & Velma Derry) was formed in 1978 and specializes in old time Rock n Roll with a few country tunes thrown in for good measure.

Come and join Jay Doige at The Old School House Arts Center (TOSH) August 1st to 5th and partake in the acting adaptation of Ronald Dahl's The Big Friendly Giant.

For ages 6 to 12

Jay has adapted this wonderful story in which a young girl, Sophie, befriends a giant named BFG. They set out on an adventure to capture the evil, man-eating giants who have invaded the human world.
