Putting Your Garden to Bed - Qualicum Beach Garden Club October Meeting
The busy summer gardening season is winding down now, so it's time to clean up your garden in preparation for next spring. Right on cue we have our October speaker, Amy Robson, who will advise us on pruning, mulches, lawn care, leaf compost and other aspects of "Putting Your Garden to Bed". Amy operates a local landscape design business called Natures Choice Design which provides landscape design, installation and maintenance.

Come pick a Pumpkin off the vine in our homegrown Pumpkin Patch. You can walk to the Patch or with Barnyard Admission enjoy a Hayride to the Patch.

Parksville Qualicum Beach Tuesday Bird Walks
The Tuesday Bird walk on October 10, 2017, will be going to Deep Bay . Meet at the Parksville Community Park (at the parking lot in front of the Lions Club Playground) at 9:00 a.m. or at the parking lot at the Deep Bay Marina at about 9:35 a.m.
Bird walks from the Parksville Beach Community Park at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays going to different areas in and around the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
