Adonis Puentes & the Voice of Cuba Orchestra Live at the Errington HallAdonis Puentes & the Voice of Cuba Orchestra Live at the Errington Hall

A special concert on Saturday, October 21 by Adonis Puentes & the Voice of Cuba Orchestra caps "Guitars by Hand", the hall's annual Island Luthiers' showcase of home crafted instruments (10am to 3pm, free admission).

Adonis was destined to be a music star. He and his fraternal twin Alexis, now better known as Alex Cuba, were born in 1974 in Artemisa, Cuba. Their father, Valentin Puentes, is a well-respected musician and teacher, and at six the twins were playing in a children’s guitar ensemble. At 14, Adonis started writing original songs, music that has ripened and matured into the poetic, sensuous song-cycle of his latest album, Sabor a Café.
