Here's a great way to spend a few hours in beautiful Parksville. Our club is hosting its first big tournament of the year and you're invited to come and watch (free to public). Players from around the Island will be vying for prizes and bragging rights.

Our club is fully accessible, with lots of parking and a very friendly atmosphere. Come and see why lawn bowling is catching on in North America.

Red Cross Standard First Aid with AED/CPR

This comprehensive two-day course offers first aid and CPR skills for those who need training for work or would like more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Training includes home hazards, accident prevention, safety education, CPR level C, first aid skills for common emergencies and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Retraining is recommended every three years. Qualicum Commons, on Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, cost is $163.

Wildlife Sea Kayak Tour 10yrs+

Come for a paddle in Nanoose where the views are fabulous, the wildlife is abundant and the quiet is utterly relaxing. We stop for a picnic on the beach, so pack your lunch.

Perfect for beginners, these tours include a certified guide, the kayak, gear and instruction in paddling strokes and safety procedures. No experience necessary. Double kayaks are available to paddle with a friend or younger family members. Children 10 year+ are welcome to register and attend with an adult. Sunday June 23 from 9:45 am to 1:30 pm.
