Beaches Temporarily Closed to Dogs

Beaches within the Parksville-Qualicum Beach Wildlife Management Area (PQBWMA) will be temporarily closed to dogs for the annual Brant geese migration. Rathtrevor Beach will close to dogs from February 15 to April 30. Qualicum Beach and Parksville Bay Beach will close to dogs from March 1 to April 30.

Music at the Museum Presents: Josué Tacoronte

Experience the passion of Flamenco with internationally acclaimed Cuban guitarist and composer Josué Tacoronte. Josué has performed across the globe, mesmerizing audiences with his unique fusion of Cuban classical and Flamenco. As music director and arranger in the most prestigious Spanish ballet and Flamenco companies in Cuba, he has earned a reputation as a master of the acoustic nylon string guitar.

Multi-instrumentalist Marty Howe will join Josué on the chromatic harmonica and flute, adding a richly textured sound.

Join us for a rare opportunity to see Josué in concert in the intimate, candlelit setting of the Heritage Church at the Parksville Museum. An unforgettable performance not to be missed!

Tickets: $40 (+online service fees). Also available in person during office hours (Thurs-Mon, 12-4).
