Clay & Coffee: Creative Pottery Workshops at Paradise Cafe

Join us for a cozy weekend of creativity and community! Hosted at Paradise Café inside Paradise Mini Golf, these guided pottery workshops with Vancouver Island ceramic artist Lilach Lotan invite you to explore clay in a fun, welcoming setting. Each day features a unique hand-building project - a Fairy House Lantern on Saturday and an Octopus Plate on Sunday.No experience is needed, and all materials, tools, and firing are included.

Between sessions, enjoy unlimited mini golf access and relax with a drink or snack from the café.

Fairy House Lantern Workshop – Saturday, December 6 - Imagine a tiny cottage glowing softly beneath the trees — windows shining, a mossy roof, and a warm light within. In this whimsical workshop, you’ll hand-build your own Fairy House Lantern using simple clay techniques. Sculpt enchanting details like curved roofs, arched doors, and glowing windows to create a magical keepsake. All materials, tools, and kiln firing included. No experience required. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup within 3 weeks. Includes unlimited mini golf access for the day.

Octopus Plate Workshop – Sunday, December 7 - Dive beneath the waves and bring an octopus to life — one graceful tentacle at a time. In this ocean-inspired class, you’ll hand-build a functional Octopus Plate, adding texture, flow, and movement to your design while learning fundamental clay techniques. All materials, tools, and kiln firing included. No experience required. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup within 3 weeks. Includes unlimited mini golf access for the day.

With over 25 years of experience, she creates pieces that combine beauty, functionality, and a playful spirit.
