Knox presents...An Evening with Sarah Smith & special guest John Gogo on Friday, May 10 @ 7:00 p.m.. Tickets are $25.00 each and available through Eventbrite or at local retailers Fireside Books & Close To You Boutique in Parksville and Edge Outdoors in Qualicum. The Eternal Busker Project is proud to be a part of this event and will be collecting donations for Canadian musicians living with cancer. Funds to be distrubuted by The Unison Fund.

An in-demand performer, Sarah has played on stages both massive and intimate, sharing the bill with the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson, KT Tunstall, Emm Gryner, Joel Plaskett, Sass Jordan, Bif Naked, David Wilcox, 54-40, Carole Pope and many more notable artists.

Each new song, each new album is a glimpse into Sarah’s personal journey as a human, as an artist, as she navigates through the peaks and valleys of her life. Her compelling and often brutally honest self-examination is mirrored through her powerful live performances, with both the output of her creativity and her engaging live experiences offering a real and profound connection with her audiences.

Western balladeer & actor John Gogo hails from a musical family in Snuneymuxw (aka Nanaimo), on Vancouver Island. He's best known for writing & performing his folksongs about the people & places, the true & the tall tales of the west coast, the islands in particular. From Haida Gwaii to St. John's to Old Crow, John has played community halls & big houses, festivals & pubs, theatres & beer parlours.
