Light The Night Parksville

October11
5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

On Saturday October 11th join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as we light the night to raise awareness for all blood cancers.

Every 24 minutes a Canadian is diagnosed with a blood cancer; over 155,000 Canadians are currently affected by a blood cancer. This event will help highlight the work that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada does, as well as acknowledge friends and family who are touched by this disease.

The walk is 1.6 kilometres, and you'll be provided with a Light The Night lantern. White lanterns are carried by patients and survivors, red lanterns by supporters, and gold lanterns are carried by those walking in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. There is a steep section, but it is wheelchair accessible.
