His most recent publication, ‘The Birdie at Willets Cottage’, is an enthralling autobiography, compiled in his 90th year. This memoir covers adventures on the high seas, dealings with bullies, the London Blitz, his OSS spy mother, and finally finding lasting love.

Ben is a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada, and in 2013, he received an Honorary Lifetime Membership with the Federation of British Columbia Writers for “recognition of extraordinary service and dedication to the ideal of Writers Helping Writers.”

Ben will be sharing his work in an exclusive session of QB Reads at the Qualicum Beach Museum on May 7th at 12 p.m. Everyone is welcome to this free event!
