Salt - Solo Art Exhibition by Kelly Corbett

The Bayside Restaurant & Lounge, with Oceanside Community Arts Council and McMillan Arts Centre, is proud to present a new exhibition of paintings by Nanoose Bay–based artist Kelly Corbett, running from October through December 2025.

The exhibition features ten large-scale beach-inspired works alongside thirteen small, “ready to fit in your suitcase paintings”, all celebrating the landscapes and coastal spirit of Vancouver Island. Known for her realistic style, Corbett captures the essence of the island with such sensory depth that viewers feel transported to the shore—breathing in the salt air, hearing the waves, and sensing the sand beneath their feet.

An avid outdoor explorer, Corbett often ventures to remote stretches of Vancouver Island’s West Coast, photographing natural scenes that later inspire her paintings. Her art embodies her belief in nature’s power to calm, heal, and restore, offering collectors a way to bring that restorative energy into their homes.
