For six generations, our family has been providing fresh, local food to settlers and travellers. Since 1853, everything we do has been guided by a deep respect for the land and our livestock. Our ethical and holistic approach to farming ensures our beef, chickens and eggs are healthy, nutritious, and free of hormones and antibiotics.

At Springford Farm Market, you can pick up the Island's freshest and most delicious food, including our own farm-raised meat, eggs, and in-season produce, as well as a full selection of local, Island-grown produce and Island made artisan foods. Curious how your eggs make it from barn to table? Visit our Viewing Barn, open Fridays & Saturdays from 12:00–4:00pm, for a firsthand look at how our free-range hens are cared for and how their eggs are collected, cleaned, and packed. Guided tours run every 45 minutes (pre-booking recommended, walk-ins welcome as space allows) — a great way to see six generations of farming in action.
