Doors open at 7:00; performance at 7:30. Tickets available online, or at the MAC during open hours (the MAC will be closed Dec18 through Jan 8 but online tickets sales will remain open)

Featuring: Jennifer Ferris & Shirley Routliffe of Victoria, B.C.
Settle in and get comfortable as Jennifer and Shirley share both personal and traditional tales that you might believe they told sitting around the kitchen table with their family and friends. Tonight you are invited to join them at their kitchen table and hear of daring deeds and extraordinary events as they recount their splendid stories.

Jennifer Ferris has been telling stories for 25 years. Performing in schools, at festivals, community events, and nature sanctuaries, she is acutely aware of the power of humour and language. She loves to tell personal stories as well as tales of myth, magic, and transformation from around the world.

Shirley Routliffe used stories when she taught in the Canadian Arctic, as a therapist, a motivational speaker, a workshop facilitator, and as a therapeutic hospital clown. She engages her audience with personal stories as well as traditional tales and has told stories in a variety of settings of Vancouver Island, in the Gulf Islands, in Ontario, and in the United States.
