The Qualicum Beach Downtown Business Association invites you to the fourth annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat on Tuesday, October 31st from 3:00-5:00pm. This free community event provides parents with a safe and friendly environment to bring their children trick-or-treating in during daylight hours.
Children in costume (12 years of age and younger) are encouraged to follow the trail of orange and black balloons to enjoy treats provided by the downtown business community. Participating businesses will feature a Downtown Trick-or-Treat poster in their window as well as orange and black balloons outside their front doors.
Other free activities taking place during the Downtown Trick-or-Treat include:
- Creepy Crafts at the Qualicum Beach Library - Free Halloween Photos for Kids in costume at Qualicum Beach Pharmasave - Edible Halloween crafts at the Courtyard Cafe - A haunted House at the Old Fire Hall - Colouring contest at Lefty's Restaurant - Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during this event.
Oceanside Community Safety members will be volunteering at crosswalks during the Downtown Trick-or-Treat, but we still ask that the public be mindful of traffic and pedestrian patterns because children will be running around very excited.
