Re-Cycles with Salmon

Re-Cycles with Salmon is a collaborative fiber-art piece which brings together up-cycled community clothing, sewn and painted salmon by local creatives, and the combined artistic concepts and skills of Joyce McLellan, səlilwətaɬ, Tsleil-Waututh Nation, and Leslie Love.
Together, our many hands and stories are held in a collage of threads, which demonstrate the salmon’s cycle of life and how artists can create new visions of a better future through care and attention in community.
