Parksville Beach

Parksville Community Park, is home to a remarkable sandy Parksville Beach, a kid's wonderland of swings, slides and water cannons in addition to great picnicking and beachfront choices.

Stroll the waterfront boardwalk and take in one of the many festivals that set up shop here, most notably the month long Parksville Beach Festival featuring the Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition, that draws nearly 100,000 visitors annually during July and August.

The playground is a Parksville Lions Club project designed for all ages and is wheelchair accessible. The playground is very well known with locals up and down the Island and visitors have been known to have returned on different occasions, just so for their kids to enjoy the park all over again.

There's beach volleyball courts and even a outdoor fitness gym and a skateboard park where all ages can enjoy many happy hours.
