Located between Lasqueti and Texada Islands, Jedediah Island Marine Provincial Park is a popular destination for recreational boaters and kayakers.

It is the biggest and most diverse of a group of more than 30 islands and rocky islets located north and west of Lasqueti Island.

Walk the trail system through old growth forest, open fields, and shoreline and you will see evidence of previous homesteading - learn more about Jedediah Island's interesting history by following the BC Parks link at the bottom of this page. While the park includes only the upland area, a rich marine environment surrounds the island and offers five secluded bays for safe harbour.

Jedediah Island Marine Provincial Park's seclusion and tranquility make it a favourite of kayakers and wilderness campers. Some of the most popular camp sites are near the shoreline around Long Bay. Although the island it is one of the largest island parks in British Columbia, Jedediah can get quite busy during the peak paddling and touring season. During this time, small bays on the east side of the island provide campers with a little more privacy.
