Become a Red Cross certified babysitter. This course introduces basic first aid, how to respond to emergency situations, explains baby and child care, offers advice on becoming a responsible babysitter, and tips for finding babysitting jobs. Caring for the Caregiver Workshop

Caregivers provide care, compassion, understanding, presence, dependability and dedication for those receiving care. However, while these traits may be the focal point for the recipient, beneath the surface, caregivers often provide for others while struggling with states of depletion. Traditionally, depletion is known to emerge as fatigue, exhaustion and burnout, and often sneaks up unannounced. However, depletion may show up in more subtle ways such as moments of intolerance, being unable to say no, sleeplessness and excessive worry.
