Hiking Information Session

Have you ever wanted to explore some of the area's beautiful mountains? A local alpine guide shares tips and resources for family adventures and avid hikers. Ask questions before heading out on our guided hikes or self-guided exploration in Regional Parks. Get advice on clothing, equipment and route planning to help you stay safe and enjoy the outdoors. Mini Golf Event for Youth & Adults - Active Aging Week

Youth 11 to 18 years and adults 55 years+ are invited to the annual mini golf event on Tuesday, September 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This event has been connecting youth and adults for over 10 years and is now part of the Active Aging Week celebration. Free registration is courtesy of Paradise Adventure Mini Golf.

Parksville Qualicum Beach Tuesday Bird Walks

The Tuesday Bird walk on September 26, 2017, will be going to the Columbia Beach in French Creek. Meet at the Parksville Community Park (at the parking lot in front of the Lions Club Playground) at 9:00 a.m. or at the parking area off Admiral Tryon Bld. (Turn off highway 19a on at Columbia Drive, turn right onto Admiral Tryon Bld. go about 100 yards to the parking area) meet at about 9:20 a.m.

Bird walks from the Parksville Beach Community Park at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays going to different areas in and around the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
