16th Annual Qualicum Beach Seedy Saturday

The 16th Annual Qualicum Beach Seedy Saturday, Theme: "Sow, Grow, Enjoy". This year's event features two seminars offered by speakers:

Donna Balzer - Topic: " Three Tips to Sow & Grow a Better Food Garden"
Kathy Claxton - Topic: "Keep Calm - Plant on... Make Gardening Fit You"

The 2018 belairdirect BC Men's Curling Championship, presented by Berwick Retirement Homes, takes place at Parksville Curling Club from January 30 to February 4, 2018. The top 12 men's curling teams from across the province meet to vie for the chance to represent BC at the 2018 Tim Hortons Brier in Regina. Live Music with The Enablers at Smoke 'N Water

The Enablers - Vancouver Islands Premier Dance Party Band. The Enablers are the only 4 piece band around that boasts 4 singers, as well as the dance inspiring sounds of Sax (baritone & alto), Flute, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass and Drums.

They play danceable hits from A(CDC) to Z(eppelin), with some Blues, Country and Reggae thrown in for good measure. Enabling good times and dancing is their motivation and
