Mount Arrowsmith, at 1817 metres, is the largest mountain on southern Vancouver Island.
This Island mountain is included in one of 564 world-wide Biosphere Reserves. The Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Reserve is unique in its vertical range, extending from the top of Mount Arrowsmith to the bottom of the Salish sea, at 300 metres in depth.
The quickest of several ways to hike up the mountain is the Judges Route.
Mount Arrowsmith's hiking trails are within an hour drive of Parksville Qualicum Beach.
