Bowser and Qualicum Bay are located just minutes north from Qualicum Beach along the scenic Oceanside Route Highway 19A. This area offers all the charms of Lighthouse Country and proximity to Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club, Horne Lake Caves, fishing and marine tour charters, and Rosewall Creek Provincial Park.

Just South of Parksville Qualicum Beach on Highway 19A, Nanoose Bay offers a serene natural setting, Fairwinds Golf Club, Marina and Nanoose Bay Cafe, Rusted Rake Brewing, regional parks to explore, as well as scenic hikes like The Notch.

South and West of Parksville is Arrowsmith Coombs Country, named after towering Mount Arrowsmith that is partially responsible for the enviable micro-climate surrounding Parksville Qualicum Beach. Arrowsmith Coombs Country is a collection of rural communities including Coombs, Errington, Hilliers, Meadowood and Whiskey Creek.
