North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre is a world-class wildlife rehabilitation and education facility nestled in the heart of Errington, BC—just 10 minutes west of Parksville on Highway 4A. Stroll through peaceful forested grounds and get up close with non-releasable bald eagles, black bears, owls, hawks, ravens, and more. Learn how ill, injured, and orphaned animals are rescued, rehabilitated, and released back into the wild whenever possible. With interactive exhibits, engaging educational programs, and a strong commitment to conservation, the Centre offers a meaningful and memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
Our grounds are fully accessible. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the property.
