Qualicum Beach Garden Club May Meeting

Come join the Qualicum Beach Garden Club May meeting. Socialize for the first half hour, then listen to a talk by Diana Walker about the German Texan botanist and plant hunter Ferdinand Jacob Lindheimer, who was known as the "Father of Texan Botany" and responsible for bringing Italian bees to Texas in the 1800's.

Parksville Qualicum Beach Tuesday Bird Walks

The Tuesday Bird Walk on May 08, 2018 will be going to the Little Qualicum River Fish Hatchery in north Qualicum Beach. Meet at the Parksville Community Park (near the Lions Club playground parking lot) in Parksville at 9:00 am, or at the Brant Viewing Platform along Highway 19a in North Qualicum Beach at about 9:20 am.
