Music On Sunday - The Charlie Porter Quartet

Now based in Portland, Oregon, Charlie has toured throughout most of the United States and abroad in Europe, Asia, the Baltic States, the Middle East and Africa as both a bandleader and as a sideman with musicians such as Joe Zawinul & Paquito D'Rivera. He holds a Bachelor's degree from The Juilliard School in classical trumpet performance and a Master's degree from Manhattan School of Music in jazz performance and was the first ever to be awarded 1st Prize in the U.S. National Trumpet Competition in both Jazz and Classical divisions. Red Cross Standard First Aid with AED/CPR

Be prepared; get trained with a two day course in first aid and cardiopulmonary (CPR C) skills. Training includes home hazards, accident prevention, safety education, CPR level C, first aid skills for common emergencies and automated external defibrillators (AED). Retraining is recommended every three years.

Qualicum Commons, on Saturday and Sunday, January 26th and 27th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, cost is $159.
