10th Annual MABR BioBlitz

Join the 10th Annual MABR BioBlitz to help document biodiversity across the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region.

This three-day community science event is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just beginning to explore, everyone is welcome to take part. Free training is available every Saturday in June.

A first-place prize will be awarded to the participant who submits the highest number of eligible observations during the 2026 BioBlitz. To qualify, observations must be submitted through the official 2026 MABR BioBlitz iNaturalist project. https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/2026-mabr-bioblitz

By participating, you are supporting biodiversity research across the MABR. Every observation helps document and deepen our understanding of the region’s rich biodiversity, while also contributing to ongoing research, conservation, and stewardship efforts.

Get outside and explore your local forests, shorelines, parks, trails, and even your own backyard while helping build a deeper understanding of the rich biodiversity and living world we all share.
