Art Bites - Acrylic Breakfast with Kat Cearns

Art Bites is all about low-risk experimenting. Try something out – see if you like the materials and the medium. Each 2-hour workshop is $45 with all materials and supplies included. Artist instructors are enthusiastic, welcoming, and encourage all their students to ‘just have fun!’ with their art.

Class Description: Learn to paint a highly textured still life in acrylic with palette knives and brushes. We will be making 9""x12"" paintings of a breakfast spread with thick texture in bright colours. Photo reference will be a view from above, like an instagram picture of a favourite meal. Reference will be provided, or you can bring your own, colour printed reference.
