Art Bites - Pastel Pet Portraits with Jolene Aarbo

Art Bites is all about low-risk experimenting. Try something out – see if you like the materials and the medium. Each 2-hour workshop is $45 with all materials and supplies included. Artist instructors are enthusiastic, welcoming, and encourage all their students to ‘just have fun!’ with their art.

Class Description: Curious about soft pastels? This fun, beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to give them a try! Bring a clear photo of your favourite pet, or follow along as I demonstrate how to draw this adorable Corgi. You’ll learn a few simple pastel techniques and complete a small pet portrait while discovering why pastels are such a beautiful and enjoyable medium to work with. No experience necessary—just come ready to have fun and get creative!
