Instructors use a variety of teaching methods, from Demo Style (watch, learn, create) to guiding individual artistic expression, and combinations of both, resulting in a unique learning outcome.
Art Gems workshops are open to all levels of experience and showcase a variety of mediums.

All materials and supplies are included in these workshops for the convenience of just enrolling, arriving and enjoying creating.
Each 4-hour workshop is $125 with all materials provided.

Working with acrylic paint on paper, you'll learn how to create reflections, lily pads, and beautiful blooms without getting lost in the details. Through guided demonstrations and step-by-step instruction, we'll focus on seeing shapes, values, and colour relationships rather than individual petals. This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters alike. By the end of the session, you'll complete a finished water lily painting and gain new confidence in your brushwork and acrylic painting skills.
