Brant Wildlife Festival Open House

April 10, 2026 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Brant Wildlife Festival Open House

Join us for a welcoming Open House at the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region (MABR) Education Centre and discover the natural systems, wildlife, and community initiatives that make our region so unique.

This special event offers a chance to learn more about the Brant Wildlife Festival—a beloved annual celebration that brings thousands of people together each spring to explore and appreciate the incredible biodiversity of central Vancouver Island. Timed with the return of migrating Pacific Black Brant geese and other wildlife, the festival is a powerful reminder of the importance of protecting the ecosystems that sustain them.

At the open house, you will have the opportunity to:

- Learn about the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region, a UNESCO-designated region focused on balancing conservation, community well-being, and sustainable development
- Discover the story behind the Brant Wildlife Festival and how it connects people with nature through events, tours, and hands-on learning
- Meet local volunteers, researchers, and community partners working to protect wildlife and habitats
- Explore interactive displays, resources, and upcoming opportunities to get involved in festival events and environmental stewardship

Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time resident, this is a great opportunity to connect with your community, learn about local ecosystems, and find out how you can be part of a thriving future for people and nature. Stop by, ask questions, meet the team, and get inspired!
