Fairy Houses

Each Summer Solstice, something extraordinary happens at Milner Gardens & Woodland. For four days only, the Milner Faeries' tiny woodland dwellings are revealed, nestled among moss-covered logs, beneath rhododendrons, and along winding garden paths.

From June 18th to 21st, 11 am to 4:30pm (with viewing until 5 pm), visit the Gardens, follow your curiosity, and discover dozens of fairy houses hidden throughout.

Inspired by Veronica Milner's enduring belief in faeries, these magical houses invite visitors of all ages to slow down, look closely, and rediscover the magic hidden in nature. Come wander, wonder, and witness the whimsical phenomenon for yourself!

Admission is $14 per adult, $10 per youth, and free for children aged 12 and under, Milner Members, VIU students, employees and alumni.

The Camellia Tea Room will be open from 12 pm to 2:45 pm with dining until 3 pm. No reservations are required. The grounds and Camellia Tea Room are wheelchair, walker and stroller accessible. Only certified services dogs are permitted on site.
