Beaches Temporarily Closed to Dogs

Beaches within the Parksville-Qualicum Beach Wildlife Management Area (PQBWMA) will be temporarily closed to dogs for the annual Brant geese migration. Rathtrevor Beach will close to dogs from February 15 to April 30. Qualicum Beach and Parksville Bay Beach will close to dogs from March 1 to April 30.

Nanoose Bay Studio Tour - Spring Showcase 2026

April 24, 2026-25

The 2026 season begins with the Spring Showcase on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, at the Nanoose Place Community Centre.

With 23 Artists displaying and showcasing their work for the 1st time this year

Opening Night on Friday runs from 6:00–8:30 pm and features catered appetizers, a licensed bar, and opening night festivities, creating a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere for guests to meet artists and preview the collection. The public showcase continues on Saturday from 10:00 am–4:00 pm, offering a full day to explore the work and connect with the artists.

The Spring Showcase brings together a diverse group of artists, giving visitors the opportunity to meet the creators behind the work, hear their stories, and experience the creative energy that defines Nanoose Bay.

Donations at the door go to Nanoose Bay Community Center
