Qualicum Beach is a small, walkable town on the east coast of Vancouver Island. There's an

From the waterfront to downtown is just a 15 min walk. It's uphill from shore to town so be sure to wear comfy shoes. The
Heritage Forest is a beautiful 50 acres of rare remnant old growth forest right in Qualicum Beach, just a short stroll from either beach or downtown.
There are plenty of great dining options. At the beach, find ocean view tables at the elegant

In Summer months, kayak and standup paddleboard rentals can usually be found at the beach. There's a seawall for strolling and benches for catching the sunset. Washrooms, change rooms, and an ice cream stand make for long lazy days of swimming and sunbathing.

To venture a bit further, consider renting a bike from
Pedego Electric Bikes then pedal just a few kilometres to
Milner Gardens and Woodland. Enjoy a relaxing tea at the
Camellia Tea Room of historic Milner House before heading back.
