Camellia Tea Room at Milner Gardens & Woodland

The Camellia Tea Room can be found in what used to be the Drawing Room of Milner House and features delicate bone china, ambient music, aromatic fresh floral arrangements and scenic views of the Salish Sea and Coastal Mountains. Our menu consists of freshly baked Milner scones with Devonshire cream and strawberry jam or whipped butter with raspberry jam, tea, coffee and a rotating selection of hot soups, sandwiches and decadent desserts made with fresh produce hand-picked from our garden. We are thrilled to carry our exclusive Milner Signature Tea and Coffee selections, beautifully handcrafted by The Denman Island Tea Company and French Press Coffee Roasters. Packs of the herbal "Veronica's Garden" or black "Long Distance" teas, and "Ray's Blend" coffee are available for purchase at the Pool House Gift Shop.

Current Hours: Thursday - Sunday from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. No reservations required.

The Camellia Tea Room will be closed to walk-in service on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th for our Mother's Day Afternoon Tea event.

Please Note:

• The Camellia Tea Room is currently operating on a first-come-first-serve, walk-in basis with a limited capacity.
• We have limited space for groups of 5 or more. Private event bookings and reservations for regular tea service are not being accepted at this time.
• Garden Admission is still required to access the Camellia Tea Room.
• Specialty Afternoon Tea service is being offered on a special events basis and will be by reservation only. Stay up to date on our social media platforms, website and e-newsletter for the announcement of our next specialty Afternoon Tea event!
• The availability of outdoor patio seating is dependent on volunteer levels, weather, and special events.
• The Camellia Tea Room is proudly run by generous volunteer support.
