PDBA Celebrates “The Season in the City'! With pop-up rooftop Christmas trees, sparkling white lights on the Alberni Hwy., an all-decked out spruce on Craig St., and a sumptuous draw prize – the members of the Parksville Downtown Business Association are gearing up to celebrate the holiday season.

“North Pole-apalooza” is back for its sixth year. Enter between Nov. 20 and Dec. 18 to win a Gotta Love Downtown gift basket, brimming with treats and surprises from the 25 PDBA members that have a decorated North Pole on their premises:

PDBA will again have its 21 ft. pop-up Christmas trees of lights on the rooftops of Coastal Community Credit Union, Kit and Kaboodle Trading Company (Morison), Scotiabank, Life Support, Parks West Business Products, and Parksville Animal Hospital.

In 2016, 2017 and 2019, PDBA purchased lights for the Alberni Hwy. street trees. The lights were given to the City of Parksville, which manages their installation. PDBA is also partnering with the Parksville Community Centre and the Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce for the Parksville Holiday Light-up at the community centre, 6 p.m. Friday Nov. 29.
