This year, the City of Parksville is celebrating Canada’s 158th birthday, the City of Parksville’s 80th anniversary, and recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band, with a jam-packed day of festivities. Start your morning with the ever-popular Shriner’s Pancake Breakfast, take in the vibrant community parade, explore food trucks offering mouthwatering treats, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.

• Shriners Pancake Breakfast – Kickstart your morning with a plate of warm, fluffy pancakes, expertly prepared by the Shriners. It’s the perfect way to fuel up for a fun-filled day.
• Canada Day Parade – Watch as creative floats, classic cars, and community groups fill the streets with excitement and color. A must-see spectacle for the whole family!
• Live Entertainment – Soak in the sounds of talented Vancouver Island bands–– Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band, Time Well Wasted, Sarah Smith, and The Joints––at the Parksville Outdoor Theatre from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and local musicians at the Gathering Plaza from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• More Activities – Games for kids, demos, displays, magician, face painters, learn to build a sandcastle, and birthday cake.
• Food Trucks and Local Eats – Satisfy your taste buds with an array of delicious food options from popular food trucks including Ala Cart Hot Dogs, Bees Knees, Dragon Bowl, and 15 additional food trucks.
