Knox Presents: Topazz The Mood Swings Dance Band

Join us for an afternoon of "Big Swing" music with Topazz & Mood Swings Big Band on Sunday, April 19th @2:00 p.m., doors open at 1:30 p.m.

Join us for an afternoon with the fabulous 6 piece band, TOPAZZ, featuring the energetic and charming vocalist, Gina T. Allan, for a special performance that is sure to get you singing along and dancing. This group of seasoned musicians and singers performs a variety of popular music ranging from Motown to modern classics . The band’s style varies with tunes from the 1930s, to more contemporary hits, to blues, to country, light rock, Latin, and generally toe-tapping, finger-snapping cheerful songs from the great American songbook.

Gina is the ultimate front person with a personality that is infectious. Come on out and join the TOPAZZ PARTY. Bring your dancing shoes or just sit back and let this group put a smile on your face. Every one is welcome.

Topazz will be joined by the equally wonderful Mood Swings Big Band . Mood Swings Dance Band is a Nanaimo BC community Jazz Big Band. Members range in skill level from high school jazz musicians and advanced amateur players to very experienced individuals who play in multiple bands. The band enjoys entertaining for parties and community events, with dance music from the 1920’s to the 2020’s.
