A Parksville Qualicum Beach scuba diving excursion is an excellent option to get a new perspective on nature and the beautiful creatures like the Pacific octopus, wolf eels, sea lions, anemones, sea stars, and more that call these waters home.
Considered one of the best dive sites on Vancouver Island, Madrona Point offers multiple dive plans, including the Small Wall, the Mid Wall, and the Maze, which all have a max depth of 18m. More advanced divers can explore the Main Wall, which has depths of around 27m.
Clear, calm water makes this an excellent spot for freshwater scuba diving and observing Brown trout in their natural habitat. Plus, be on the lookout for the mysterious Cameron Lake cryptid that may be lurking beneath the surface.
While there is not as much marine life here as at other dive sites, Wall Beach is a great place to spot sea lions along the Northwest Bay. Dives here are accessible for all skill levels, and range from fairly shallow to quite deep at over 54m.
