Cathedral Grove (MacMillan Provincial Park)
A spur of the moment trip to Cathedral Grove was maybe one of our best stops. To see and imagine what these 800 year old trees have experienced is really mind boggling. Julia said it's like Jurassic Park in here. Even when we got out of the car, the air is so wet and cold. It's like you've been transported to a different world. A natural treasure and something that has to be experienced in person.

Round two of the search for the Cameron Lake Cryptid this week confirmed that there is something very large swimming in the lake just west of Parksville-Qualicum Beach.
